Title: "Archaeology of China" in Gansu - New Archaeological Discoveries from Yangshao to Longshan Periods

Introduction:

In recent years, Gansu Province has firmly grasped the era requirements of building archaeology with Chinese characteristics, Chinese style, and Chinese style, relying on its unique historical evolution track and cultural resources advantages, focusing on major projects such as "Archaeological China", to carry out a series of major archaeological work on human origin and evolution, the origin and spread of civilization, the origin and development of a country, and ethnic exchanges and integration. This exchange mainly introduces some important new archaeological discoveries from Yangshao to Longshan periods in Gansu, and further understands the status of Gansu in the process of early Chinese civilization and its important role.

Lecturer profile

Chen Guoke, born in 1980, Ph.D., director of Gansu Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology, and a librarian of cultural and museum research. The main research directions are Silk Road archaeology, early mining, and metallurgy archaeology. He presided over 1 key project of the National Social Science Fund and 1 major research project of "Archaeology China", and completed more than 30 archaeological excavations, including the site of Zhangjiachuan Geyachuan Site, Zhangye Xichengyi Site, Subei Mazongshan Jade Mine Site, Dunhuang Hanxia Jade Mine Site, and Tianzhu Tuguhun royal family tombs. He was awarded 2 of the Top Ten New Archaeological Discoveries in China, 3 of the New Archaeological Discoveries in China, and 1 of the Field Archaeology Awards. He has published 8 archaeological reports and more than 40 papers.
